Tahnee Seagrave

Having sat and watched Vanessa Quin win the World Championships in Les Gets, France in 2004… a nine-year old girl started her path “I want to do that one day”.

In those early years Tahnée started racing BMX, it was not her passion, she was just using the little bike to give her skills on the bigger bike, she loved riding downhill!

Dedication and desire got her onto the international race circuit in 2012 where she ended up winning the overall series. Tahnée missed out on the one title she wanted – Junior World Champion. She came second that year and losing that race was probably the greatest lesson she learnt in racing.

2013 was Tahnée’s second and final year as a Junior. Again she won the overall title and this year she went to South Africa with the British team determined to come home with Gold – nothing was going to stop her.

Her dream has always been to become World Champion and winning the Junior title in 2013 was stage one complete – she is now gunning for the elite title.

In her first Elite season of 2014, Tahnée finished on the podium at 4 World Cup races, took the Elite WIN at the IXS in Pila and BDS at Bike Park Wales plus a Bronze medal at the World Championships in Norway.
